I'm currently serving as NeCRA's Official Member at Large.  I was born and raised in Sioux City, Iowa, and attended court reporting school at Stenotype Institute of South Dakota in Sioux Falls.  Immediately upon graduation I relocated to Nebraska. 

Over the last several years I have been on a mission to protect and promote the profession of stenographic court reporters, both official and freelance.  I'm currently a committee member of NCRA's Steno Strong Committee as well as serving as a Midwest Regional Representative for the National Congress of State Associations.  

In my free time I like to be in the kitchen creating new recipes.  My pipe dream is to attend culinary school and maybe write a cookbook someday.
